Week 5 Matchups

First crucial week of regular season games begins for AAA. The games on the sked that I like in AAA are VC vs WV, ND vs WJM, and SD vs HC. Expect the games to be tighter, and much more physical as teams jockey for playoff positioning.

For AA, more key matchups with playoff implications, Vanier vs Mission, and Moscrop vs Sentinel. All 4 Interior teams are in action, Fulton and OKM actually play twice believe it or not. Expect the top 5 rankings to stay the same, could be some movement with the Interior teams after week 5.

The one thing that will kill the season has nothing to do with football itself, as the teachers have voted 88% in favor of strike action. Escalation in strike activity starts ASAP up to Oct 22 when a full out strike will be called. Not sure what this will mean for football but it can't be good. More details to follow....
