Vancouver College Fighting Irish vs West Vancouver Highlanders

Fri, Sep. 30 at 3:45P, West Van High, West Vancouver

The Fanatic spread line:

VC-21 at WV+21 O/U 56

Final Score 31-6 for VC. No upset here, as expected, VC comes up with the win. Wasn't at the game, but assume that Tapia had 2 maybe 3 TDs with the big O-line creating the holes. Good on West Van to keep the game in check though, they appear solid for the regular season and will put up quite the fight for #2 in the West. VC's already making preparations for a Subway Bowl run.

Could be a coming out party for West Van if they pull out the huge upset. Key will be getting protection for Noble or Nelson (whoever starts) the time to throw the ball. R Eker can make plays if the ball is thrown his way. VC's massive O-line will get RB Tapia at least 2-3 TDs, maybe more. Again, key will be for VC's speed on defense, force the QB to throw under pressure.

West Van's exhibition schedule was relatively easy compared to VC. I expect VC in a romp , at least 35 points.

Sonny will start, he was the starter all along then he got hurt, hes much better than noble and is ready to go, eker is a total stud and the star of the team, should be a close game.

game seemed a little closer than the score, vc gaps for there rb to run are huge, nobody can stop the run, west van mostly moved the ball by the air and had a bunch of drives, but always seem to get stuffed in the redzone
