Week 3 in Review

The level of play keeps improving for some, and others, well, at least the kids have something to do other than hang out at the mall.

Game of the week in AA was a huge matchup between #1 Windsor and #3 Sands. The game lived up to it's top billing. Great football action all around. The high level of coaching evident in the near perfect execution. Did not get a chance to watch the AAA game of the week in North Delta vs Burnaby Central, but heard it was a decent game.

Those who were fortunate enough to take in the VC/Ferndale game were witness to a possible NFL QB in Jake Locker. What an arm on that kid. Suppose to be an awesome baseball pitcher too.

There were some upsets this week too and close intense games. OKM vs Valleyview got out of hand with several players ejected for fighting and a couple of Valleyview players suspended for more games. Remember kids, it's just a game (coaches too).

Team update, Kalamalka has joined Norkam in folding their team. Unconfirmed reports indicate that some of the Lakers have transferred to Fulton to join their team.
