Squalicum, Wash vs New West Hyacks

Final Score 36-29 for Squalicum. O/U was close -5, spread was off, way off. New West keeps getting it done in a close loss here. QB Ben Davies continues to shine, looking like a Conference All-Star, maybe more. Gr10 RB John Drury with a monster game, 200+ yds rushing. With Hansen losing, New West and North Delta will battle for #2 in East, New West could have the early edge.
New West is in real tough vs Squalicum of Washington State. Squalicum is currently 1-1 on the season but they play in that ultra-competitive Northwest Division in 3A that Bellingham (remember they dismantled Centennial), Lynden (shutout Holy Cross), and Ferndale (about to rotate VC). Hope they make a game of it.
