North Delta Huskies vs Burnaby Central Wildcats

North Delta Huskies (1-0) vs Burnaby Central Wildcats (0-1)
Fri, Sep. 16 at 3:15P, Burnaby Lakes, Burnaby

ND-7 at Central-7 O/U 35

Final Score 28-13 for ND. Spread and O/U were decent, could be closer. Game was closer than the score. New transfer for North Delta really lit it up, still checking elegibility though. With Hansen losing, ND is looking like #2 in East and top 10 overall. Central played well, but ends up losing again. Will get better as season progresses.

Could of gone with the several out of province matchups but decided to go in a little different direction for AAA GOTW for Week 3. This is a statement game for both North Delta and Central. North Delta is trying to establish themselves as a top 10 team and for some attention. With all of STM, Cent, and Fox looking weaker than originally expected, Central is looking to sneak up and take a top position in the Central Conference. A contrast of styles as North Delta is more of a running team and Central is more of a passing team, we'll see which style comes out on top.

ND Offense: QB Skrijeli and RB Montanari lead the ground attack. Not much of a passing threat though. The O-line has decent size.

Central Defense: Played Hansen tough giving up only 14 points. Don't care what other people say, LB Marrington is a stud, fellow Captain LB Perizzolo is also solid.

Central Offense: QB Pankratz has a good arm, had a good game vs Hansen. Need some form of a ground game to compliment the air attack.

ND Defense: Gave up 26 points to West Van in the win, needs good pass coverage to stop the Central passing attack.

hmm i'm interested in this game, we'll see if ND has anything left.. if they can't beat Burnaby Central well then they wouldn't stand much of a chance against Sands either
I say Central by a bit, high scoring game
