Week 2 in Review

Week 2 was another fantastic week in BC High School Football. I was witness to several games and there is a lot of great talent all-around. Very impressed with the high level of play.

Game of the week in AAA was a rout by VC over Cent. Coach Phillips has a lot, and I mean a lot of work to do to fix both his O-Line and D-Line. They will not contend if they don't get blocking on offense and penetration on defense. In the AA game of the week, Barsby survived a tough Ballenas team on the Island. I wish I was there, sounded like a great game.

In other AAA action, WJM's impressive rout of Fox means they are the clear front-runner overtaking Centennial. Hansen and Handsworth had decent wins. STM won but didn't look good. In AA action, LT and Sands are rising to the top to contend with Windsor.

A couple of team updates, Norkam has folded their program due to low numbers and Kalamalka is on the bubble. As for rest of the AA teams, some start Regular Season league play next week. Expect the games to get alot tighter and more intense.
