Final Score 29-21 for LT. The game that nobody is talking about....For the 2nd game in a row the Panthers have dragged their feet in a much closer win than expected. With Sands coming up in the semis, they better be ready for prime-time or the 4 horsemen could make an early exit from the post-season. Trojans close to an upset here, have managed to accomplish quite a lot with less talent.

Oops, final was 39-21 for LT. According to the poster below, it was 33-0 at halftime. Well, LT/Sands is looking mighty fine. Can't wait...


Lord Tweedsmuir had a scare in the wildcard round with the score tied 20-20 at the half vs Moscrop. The Panthers closed out strong in the 3rd and won easily, but still it has to be a concern. Hugh Boyd comes off a huge win over Mission in a low-scoring tightly played game. The Trojans are have had a very tough schedule including a 32-7 drubbing at the hands of the very same LT Panthers. The Panthers have too much talent at the skill positions for the Trojans to match. Jordan Willetts is probably the best QB in the whole province. Expect the Panthers to start strong and put the game away early.

LT Offense: Since exercising revenge on last year's playoff loss by beating Barsby in Week 1, the Panthers have reeled off 7 more wins. And the offense has been awesome to watch. QB Jordan Willetts and RB Bryce Warbinek have been leaving defenses in their dust all season long. The top Offense in AA just keeps rolling week after week.

Boyd Defense: The Trojans are a small group but tough and very quick. They need to somehow get penetration and get in the face of Willetts. If they can do that, they can limit the Panther attack.

Boyd Offense: Most effective when QB Joe Bouchard has time to pass. Running game has been decent. If they watch film of the Moscrop game, they can be successful passing vs LT.

LT Defense: DB Greg Anuik and LB Bryce Warbinek have been good in the box but 20 points scored on by Moscrop exposes some holes in the secondary. The LT defense has been good enough with the awesome offense they have. As long as they can play good enough to limit the Trojans to short gains, should be enough to win.
