Frank Hurt Hornets vs Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers

Fri, Nov. 4 at 3:45P, TBA

The Fanatic spread line:

FH+21 at LT-21 O/U 56

Final Score 34-6 for LT. Looks like all cylinders are pumping for LT heading into the playoffs. Willetts and Co. should cruise easily to Semis. Hurt will probably stay where they're at, problem is that they will probably face a top 4 team.

Frank Hurt will make playoffs, but a good game here could improve their chances of moving up into a top 10. LT comes off a big win over Vanier, a win here going into the playoffs will prepare them well for playoffs.

How can you say that Frank Hurt can be a top 10 team. They allowed 21 points to Seaquam this year. Their close victories over Mark Isfield, North Surrey and Valleyview were not impressive at all! I really appreciate the work you put towards this site, however your obvious bias to Frank Hurt is quite sickening!

If Hurt can put a fight in this game, I think they should get consideration for Top 10. If they lose badly, sure, they should be end of the train.

Frank Hurt is a difficult team to judge, in terms of where they should end up.

They easily have sufficient talent for a top 10 AA team, but members of their coaching staff are more focused on their off-field "crusade." For the sake of their own players, Frank Hurt needs to focus on game preperation or find coaches that are willing to do so.

I applaud the FH coaches for everything they do and have done. In the end they will be more than justified.

The previous poster seems worried...whey ever would that be?

    Go Hornets!!

Frank Hurt should be worried that they are going to miss the playoffs. No wins of any significance plus close games against crap teams equals no playoffs.

due to the strike team records are going to be strange and often misleading. but do remember some coaches keep the first string on the field to run up the score and second stringers never leave the bench. 20 points is close? second stringers were used.

i think LT is a great team, but vanier is their first real test, which they passed. don't think FH will be easy just because their coaches refuse to run up scores.

Watch any other team that played North Surrey and demolished them and tell me that those teams did not also sub in after half time. They will lose and lose handily because they are not a good team. A good team would not beat North Surrey, possibly the worst team in high school football in the last couple of years, 21-8. Frank Hurt is not good. There is no hiding it. They got kicked by Mount Doug and the same will happen this week.

I would like to go watch this game. Does anyone officially know at when and where this game is being played?

The website says 3:45pm, but the local paper says 2:00pm.

    Could be a good one!

Hey guys. I saw the game LT vs Frank Hurt. And Frank Hurt in the first half had LT numbers. And Frank Hurt came out and took it strait to them. It was 6 to 7 for LT at the half. Then in the second half LT made two big plays and won the game. They score both TD's on the Pass. Frank Hurts Defense in the first half killed LT offense. They got like 3 sacks. And they also did a good job at keeping LT QB in check ! Frank Hurt played a good game for 3 quaters. They just have to play for 4 quaters all game. But LT showed why there number 2 in the leauge in the 4 quater of the game. But it was I closer game then the score teels you.

It was not really a close game. Penalties hurt LT in the first half, that was why it ws close. Frank Hurt got dominated in the second half. Frankly I was not impressed with both teams. LT had athletes but were not good up front. Frank Hurt was poorly coached and there guys started to give up early.

On the contrary. I thought the coaches were great to make some key change ups that really screwed LT's offense in the 1st half.

It was the talent that eventually wore them down in the second making big plays when they needed. Excellent coaching on both sides of the ball
