Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers vs Moscrop Panthers

Fri, Nov. 11 at 10:00am, Mercer Stadium, New Westminster

The Fanatic spread line:

LT-35 at Moscrop+35 O/U 42

Final Score 49-27 for LT. Was at part of the game and yes the halftime score was 20-20. But LT was able to put together some nice plays and put the clamp down in the second half. Moscrop is actually a much better team than they are seeded, QB Jeff McCann is a stud on both sides of the ball. As for LT, they got a scare, but the important thing is that they're moving on. Mission or Hugh Boyd is next, another big test.

Many pundits predict LT to give Windsor their toughest test, that may be, but the Panthers (LT that is) will need to win some big games to get there. The 4 horsemen look to complete their High School careers with a Championship, the one that has eluded them throughout Community ball. I think hands down, QB Jordan Willetts is THE MVP for AA. Kid does it all. RB/LB Bryce Warbinek, R Greg Anuik are no slouches either. Moscrop has had a tough schedule but made the best of it. The Panthers (Moscrop that is) are happy to be in the playoffs and should be playing on their home field which is always a treat. QB Jeff McCann has been a bright spot for the Panthers (Moscrop that is) on both sides of the ball. Will probably be his last in High School.

LT better get there game together in the first half if they want to make it anywhere. 20-20 vs. a not very strong moscrop team isn't a good score. moscrop only beat gulf islands 13-0

moscrop only beat gulf islands 13-0 because they field was so muddy and wet that the refs wanted to cancel the game before it started, by the end of the first quarter there was no grass left.. moscrop didnt want to cancel because we'd gone so far already. if you dont believe me about the field i have video tape of our guys slideing about 35 feet in the mud after the game. we had brutal turnovers cause of the weather too, 2 fumbles on the other teams one yrd line and 3 td's called back beacuse of bad calls due to guys falling all over in the mud... were a good team that just didnt believe in ourselves enough to pull out the win vs tweedsmir, they came out in the 3rd and wanted it more and that was the only quarter that they beat us in

LT arn't as good as word of mouth says, they're gonna have to be consitent to make it to semi's as rigth now they belive they can just waltz into them.

Lt did not look good defensively. Soft up front. 77 is lazy and takes many plays off. 33 and 21 are better runners than linebackers. Biles from Moscrop might be the best wide receiver in the province. If you missed his performance, lets just say it was awesome. He is only grade 11.

I (77) could barely run because of back problems and i took myself off the d-fence because i could no longer contribute to my team so im sorry for my lazy performance

i play quarterback for moscrop and im gonna stick up for 77 from Lt, he was stuffing that right power gap until he dissapeared. i call my own plays and make no mistake about it i called powers away from him for a good portion of the time cause he was stuffing it up, if you wanna beak the Lt d-line just say that they are simply too small. a few of them looked to be about max 175 lbs. Jeff Biles is a stud and makes my life real easy especially in the rain. he should get provinchal all-star even though he's grade 11 and hopefully can stay at reciever next year if a new QB steps up. LT was soft on D and needs a more rounded offence, but isnt that the story of every winning team in AA football (ie Windsor, Ballenas)..course the exception being MT doug. but then again it doesnt really matter in the end, theres no almost on the scoreboard and only the W counts when it comes to the playoffs

you get to call your own plays????

    LUCKY!!!

I wish I could call my own plays. But then agina I play receiver so that probably wouldn't work.
