Week 3 Matchups

The season seems to be moving fast beyond us as we approach Week 3.

In AA, we have a huge #1 vs #3 matchup in Windsor vs Sands. Windsor is of course the consensus #1 and will stay that way throughout the season. Sands is the first year team that has exploded onto the AA scene with big wins over N Surrey and more recently Orville of Washington State. It will be the first true test for Sands as well for Windsor. Good luck to both...

For AAA, there is a little bit of a lull in the schedule this week as there are no big head-to-head matchups. There are of course some interesting games to watch for. One is the Ferndale/VC game, Ferndale is rated #2 in Washington State 3A, and of course VC is #1 in BC. VC will lose big, but of course the goal is get to that level. The other game to watch out for is Cochrane/Centennial, Cochrane is the 3 time defending Tier 2 champions from Alberta. Centennial is coming off that disappointing loss to VC and will look to get back on track.
