STM Knights vs Timberline Wolves
Sun, Nov. 13 at 3:00pm, BC Place, Vancouver
The Fanatic spread line:
STM-21 at Timberline+21 O/U 49
Final Score 24-0 for STM. Knights have hit their stride here winning 7 straight. West Van is up next. All the pieces are coming together at the right time, a rematch vs VC would certainly be a lot closer today than in Week 1. As for Timberline, not sure if injuries played a role as they limped into the playoffs losing 2 straight with key starters out due to injury. The future is bright though, as many Juniors return and the JV team is solid once again.
2 close losses for Timberline have seen their stock drop from top 5 to barely in the playoffs. Still the Wolves have the talent and experience to beat a team like STM, but it will be tough no question. Not sure if Dayton Prior will be healthy for this one, but without him, they won't have a prayer. QB Joe Down has been decent, but has struggled in the redzone. Defense has been the staple for the Wolves so far, only +30 pts allowed was to WJ Mouat.
Some say that STM has improved since that shutout loss to open the season vs VC. But the only significant wins have been over Notre Dame (close win) and Holy Cross (close win). With Dumas playing now, the Knights could have enough to make a run this year, but they'll need to win convincingly over Timberline here. Offensively, RB Carino has been finding holes all season. QB Scheltgen has been good enough. Defensively, they are fundamentally sound which is direct result of the strong program they run from Gr. 8 all the way up.

Tuasons is OVER RATED? You have to be kidding me, the kid has been on the All-Star team since grade 10, not to mention that he started varcity in grade 10. Tuason will absolutley eat up the timberline o-line.

Having played him this year, he was way better last year and in gr 10 wasnt great. He was awesome last season but has not continued this season.
