Sands Scorpions vs Okanagan Mission Huskies

Final Score 43-8 for Sands. Barsby, here we come. Sands all over OKM in this one. The Huskies were short on numbers but strong in heart battled all season, with mostly Sophmores and Juniors, should be back in a big way next year. Sands will have their hands full next week, Barsby has gotten better every week leading up to next week. Time to put the egos aside and just "play ball".


No doubt Sands boosters are less than thrilled to be dropped 3 spots by the "selection committee". Nonetheless, they get their easy matchup vs OKM. The Scorpions have tailed off a bit after a good start, need to pick it up here with Quarters coming up. Too much speed and skill especially on defense for Sands. OKM has had a good season overall. Not many expected the Huskies to finish ahead of Valleyview and Westsyde. They have a lot of Gr. 9s and 10s and aren't blessed with incredible atheletes but they play hard and make plays, that's what team football is all about.

Update, I don't mind if you talk trash (in fact I encourage it). I don't mind if you call each other out. But there will be no talk of sodomy, threats of violence, suicide, raping your mother, etc... save that stuff for the field. I'll delete your comments and/or shut the thread down otherwise.
