Notre Dame Jugglers vs Salmon Arm Golds
Sat, Nov. 12 at 5:30pm, BC Place, Vancouver
The Fanatic spread line:
ND-7 at SA+7 O/U 35
Final Score 42-25 for Salmon Arm. Biggest upset so far of the playoffs in either AAA and AA. The Golds simply dominated the Jugglers in every aspect. The Jugglers came out flat and simply do not have the big play threat to come back from being down big. In a season where they had all the advantages (being able to practice during the strike) and got better each week, they overlooked the Golds in a big way and were simply out-played. The Golds showed that the South Kam loss was a 1 trick pony and should be taken seriously. They get their wish with Centennial up next. RB Kyle Armstrong was superb once again, not much else to say about it but WOW. The game ended badly with several fights breaking out when the Jugglers frustrations obviously got the best of their emotions. The Jugglers return a lot of key players and should contend next year, until then, so long.
Wow, what a fantastic matchup this will be. The Jugglers are have gotten better and better every week. RB Rasotto is a strong runner that can keep the Jugglers Offense moving. QB Brassington is getting more confidence each and every game, and he's only a Junior. The Juggler secondary has had problems early in the season but the coverage seems to have picked up. Salmon Arm could've been higher but had that disappointing loss to South Kam after the strike. They are a solid team with loads of experience playing ball at a high level. RB Kyle Armstrong is under-rated and could be due for a big game. I say the Jugglers win this one in a close tight defensive battle.

i say salmon arm in an upset for notre dame being too cocky and not taking practice seriously thinking they will walk all over salmon arm.

Notre Dame will not beat any team in the top 16 by more than 20 points. However they will dominate and eat up the clock. The Jugglers by 18.

Several Fights?
There is no place in football for that. If this is true, then those players should be disciplined by the league, either this year (SA) or next (ND).

I agree, same thing happened when Holy Cross beat Carson, the eagle players became very chippy and cheap. And you coudlnt even hear the coaches tell them to stopo which was surprising as the HC coaches every play told his guys to walk aaway and in the 4th even called the whole team to the sidelines. It is stupid and there really is no place in football for it.

gotta appreciate the intensity and emotion the guys played with, but i agree that it is not good

Is it really that surprising? Notre Dame is insanely arrogant and can't handle losing to a public school, let alone from the interior. They showed their true colours, from the sound of things. Congratulations Golds!

i saw the game and there were only like 2-3 scuffles in the last minute when the jugglers (actually it was more there defense then anything, offense played a clean good game) were trying to start shit after they knew they were done, after this game i see a team that can compete with anyone and probably win, even against VC and Mouat, this is a team that deserves to be in the finals, and the go by the name The Golds
