These picks are a joke. It is pretty obvious that some of these guys should not have made the team. Especially in AA. Brent Knull from Frank Hurt? The guy is brutal. Just because his coach is on the executive.

How about New west getting 4 allstars? Give me a break. is Farhan involved as a zone rep? He is such an "Fing" self promoter it stinks....

Sounds like alot of sour grapes. Don't point fingers at players just because you didn't make the team or you don't like their coach, show a little class and sportsmanship.

It is easy to reply to that remark however wait a second and think about it for a moment..
Of course sands got no provincial all-stars, they're a first year team which made the semi-finals only to get screwed over by the officials of BC high school football. Why would BC high school football give them the honor of provincial all-stars if they hate them to begin with??
    Just my opinion

i think at least 2 of em shoulda made it.

  • At 6:40 PM, November 30, 2005, Anonymous Anonymous said…

Sands didn't get any all-stars becasue they are recruiting cheaters and BCHSF doesn't recognize cheaters as doing anyhting right. I belive that they had good players but since their coaches decided to cheat they lose. HAHAHAHAHAHA TAKE THAT CHEATERS!!!

All of delta got screwed, not just sands. You mean to tell me that there isn't one played on Sands, North Delta, South Delta, and Seaquam that is good enough to be a pepsi all-star. Hell even Hc got screwed too. Yet New West has 4. I'm sorry Cody Husband is not that good. I would much rather see someone like Garisto (even he's grade 11) or maybe another Mouat guy like Greg Spence. What about a guy like Paul Samra? It's b/s I wish I could have a coach on the selection commitee so I could get in over better players.

haha all of delta did pretty much get screwed, whatever though. let the ppl who made the team have thier glory, some of them deserved it yes..but i do think they could have picked some better players. some players just get overlooked, i think taylor potkins from sands should have made the provincial allstars..the kid has a cannon, i tihnk he is the best qb in AA football, yah willets can run, so what, potkins is a way better qb and whoever doesnt see that is crazy.

Hey BCSportsFanatic what is your take on the MVPS and such. Who else do you think deserved All-Stars. Did willets deserve MVP? Why didnt Sands get any All-Stars? WHy didn't Oscar Tapia get any awards, same with Gabe?

Looking at the AAA All-Stars. Of 23 teams, only 12 are represented on the All-Star team. Of those 12 teams, VC placed 4, Mouat 3. That is understandable as both teams must be good to be in the Finals. Of the Semi-Finalist teams Centennial places 3, and STM only 1?.

Two teams that got beat our of the first round convicingly NW places 4 and ND places 3. No other team even comes close.

All-Star selections are flawed starting at the Conference level. However at the Pepsi All-Star level one really has to question the selection criteria and demand a fair selection process or to abandon it all together.

This does not represent the best in the province nor does it come close. Nearly 1/2 of the teams do not have any representation on the team. Self promotion and conflict of interest are way too evident here.

haha, hey sands how come none of you guys made all-star, Its becasue you're not any good, hahahahahhaha loser, what are you gonna say yah we are, no your not otherwise you'de be all-stars.

hurst IS a grade 11...i play for cent lol...moron pay sum attention he'll be back next year...and he got like 10 picks or sumthing of the sort...so he beats out nigel palma on that basis at least..

sands go screwed because no one likes them because ya they did cheat i feel bad tho for the payers who really were eligible for sands and were good players like brian trautman and tyler johnson and scott wilcox and ajay sanduh and a few more but i mean thats the way it goes for them i guess ..it sucks because i thought kyle marcott from my team (seaquam) should have made it he is pretty good but o well and we didnt even cheat lol they deserved it but sadns blame your coaches for this
    peace out

    the massicar

Blame the Coaches of the cheaters? Sure but don't the cheaters themselves need to take some of the blame? They are the ones faking the addresses. Where are the morals of those players and their parents? Why is it all laid in the coaches Lap? What about the schools AD and administation? Don't you think they should take some of the Blame? What about BCSS (B.C. school sports) Those gutless pukes wanted to be in charge of eligibility and when something like Sands, or Centennial or ? comes up they chicken out..they don't do the right thing..Why? Probably because they don't want to be sued. So the few non-cheating Coaches had to take things into their own hands and punish the cheating schools the only way they could ..ie. not put any of their kids forward for awards. Same thing happened a couple of years ago to Centennnial when they cheated with Jutreus (or whatever that QB's name was) they got no allstars that year either. Pay back is a bitch!

everybody knows that it is a political process. We'll see how good some of the guys are when it is senior bowl time.

I feel bad for Samra and Sands. Samra deserved it without a doubt. Even if Sands is rumoured to be cheating they still play in AA and should of got some all-stars

  • At 7:24 PM, December 02, 2005, Anonymous Anonymous said…

And no i dont play for cent or sands

  • At 7:29 PM, December 02, 2005, Anonymous Anonymous said…

how is that riduclous look at the team stats? Windsor defense isn't 1 player like Centennial in AAA. Windsor tacklesare evenly spread out. Every1 is making plays. He has more competition from his team that any other player in the province

The fact that New West has 4 requires an investigation! Who was the best team they beat all year? South Delta? I am getting sick of all the hype Farhan generates. This team would have been beat by the any of the Top 6 Double A schools!
