West Vancouver Highlanders vs Notre Dame Jugglers

Fri, Nov. 4 at 5:00P, Burnaby Lakes, Burnaby

The Fanatic spread line:

WV+7 at ND-7 O/U 35

Final Score 28-7 for Notre Dame. Not sure if the game was closer than the score was or if Eker was a factor at all. Notre Dame peaking at the right time here, could get consideration for Top 4 with the quality of teams they've faced and beaten. West Van will slip a little, should still be top 10 though.

Biggest game of the year for West Van as they come off the huge win last weekend over Timberline. Jesse Eker is having a season to remember and should not only get an All-Star selection but MVP consideration should the Highlanders go deep into the playoffs. Notre Dame gained some more respect over the weekend in keeping close to #1 VC. The key to the game will be whether Eker and the Highlanders can take advantage of the Juggler Secondary. Expect a tight close game either way.

oh ya, he had great games against moscrop, noth delta, hugh boyd and sentinal. wait are 3 of those AA teams, and the other a bad AAA team. i cant believe anyone would have good stats after playing crappy teams like that.

where was he in the vc game? he did have a good game against timberline, but timberline isnt used to playing in games where the refs arent biased towards them.

so next year, if i want mvp, ill move to the okanagan so i can play the worst compition availabe, BUT my stats would be great.

not used to refs not being biased towards them eh? youre just still sore about losing to them way back when...you really need to stop blaming the refs for that kind of stuff, you lost get over it

That "fumble recovery" was BS take a look at the game film it was CLEARLY an incomplete pass. What it was was a great defensive play by the kid that cause the pass from being completed.

Ekker needs a supporting cast, otherwise it's easy to take away 1 player.

How come no other west van players are being mentioned?

Eker had 4 catches for 81 yards. So not a complete shutout.

It was 14-7 for Notre Dame at the half. Could have been 14-14 but Notre Dame had brilliant Goalline stand.

21-7 for Notre Dame off Int return for TD.

Then late score to make it 28-7.

West Van had over 200 yds offense. But too many mistakes and mistackles to win it...
