OKM Huskies vs Valleyview Vikings

Fri, Nov. 4 at 3:00P, Valleyview

The Fanatic spread line:

OKM-3 at Valleyview+3 O/U 28

Final Score 21-12 for OKM. Huskies pretty much sealed a playoff berth with this one, waiting for the "selection committee" to rank them, I say their borderline top 10. If the "selection committee" chooses teams 1 thru 16 for playoffs, Valleyview is probably done. Much will depend on how Westsyde, Moscrop, and Seaquam do. As for the game, it was tight and very competitive, score was close until late. With the exception of a late hit by Valleyview, was pretty clean all-around (yes, the offender was ejected), will hear more later...

These 2 teams not only renew their dislike for each other, a playoff berth is likely on the line. Last time these 2 teams met almost a month ago, players and coaches were ejected. Could get heated again, will be an intense matchup for sure.

well the game will be a close one at that. It'd be a little out of place for either teams to expect a definet win on friday. After all this may in fact be the last game for one of these highschool football teams, and thats where anything can happen.Either they'll work together or the teams will fall apart in desperation to make the uncompremisable work.

Valleyview has had potential in the past no doubt about it, but they've never cracked. Back in the day when valleyview was a first year team 5 years ago they had very few players, from my understanding it wasn't untill this year that their senior team was able to field more then 20 guys. Years before it's only been 16 to 18. Now you tell me if you could play 4 ways and maintain intensity through freshly ran players, I doubt it. Not only the lack of experience they had compared to thei competitors. Now I'm not saying they'll kick OKM's ass, but I am saying it wont be a crack.. It just wont be a huge lead by OKM, or by Valleyview. How about we leave the assesments, and oh so knowledgable opinions untill after the game, then you can smack talk all you want to the losing.. Just hold it in... 1 day.. 1 day.. think you could that chumps. lol. Com'on buddy. Crist. Show some respect, at least their out playing the game, giving an effort. They killed Westyde, a team that was supposedly a shit load better then they, as is OKM "supposedly" whos to say they wont win. 1 day... 1 day...fair enough.

I think everyone is saying the opposite. Everyone has said how much more talented Valleyview is then OKM.

Valleyview lost to Frank Hurt by 1 touchdown. I therefore think they will sneak in around 14th or 15th. Seaquam lost to Frank Hurt by 20. I do think Westsyde will miss the play-offs.

I think your mistaken. Valleyview is ranked 3rd in the Okanagan conference and has a shot at the playoffs. They are not for sure in until after this meeting today! It does look good for them though

Valleyview was seeded 14th, so their head up against the 3rd seed, John Barsby.. So thats the story I've been told, more then likely correct was from a reliable source. These guys get another chance, hopefully the graps the opprotunity.

As stated above, Valleyview takes on John Barsby in the first round.

OKM takes on Sands in the first round.

With the winners of those games playing each other in the second round.
