North Delta Huskies vs Holy Cross Crusaders
Sat, Nov. 5 at 1:30P, Holy Cross Surrey
The Fanatic spread line:
ND+10 at HC-10 O/U 42
Final Score 44-6 for Holy Cross. Depending how the seeding works for playoffs (ie. conference vs straight up), the Huskies are most likely finished. The talent was there, but unfortunately they fell apart once play resumed after the strike. The Crusaders not only make the playoffs but should have a favorable seeding, could be as high as #9 or #10.
The Huskies coming off that hard fought disappointing loss to South Delta. The good news is that their playoff fate still exists in their hands with a win here. Holy Cross is in with 2 regular season wins, but need a win here to move up the rankings so that they don't face one of the big 4. Question marks for Holy Cross are whether they can get it done with rookie QBs. Defense has been solid. For North Delta, they have the air attack, but need to figure out some kind of run game or you'll here a lot of "3 and out".

Walter Becker was quoted in the newspaper that 8 of his players were hurt for the game against South Delta. If those 8 guys are back then expect ND to trounce Holy Cross!

im so disappointed in the performance of the nd huskies..i really beleive that this team had so much talent but wasted it all due to bad coaching..now the players regreting that they didnt coem to sands aa to play for coach U..wow that sands team would have been stacked if those guys had come, they could been a top AAA team if they had that much talent..good year huskies maybe in the future

North Delta shouldnt even have a team next year. Are players from North Delta allowed to go to sands??

If the ND team folds, I'm sure they would be eligible to play at the nearest school.

I do believe they will just get into the play-offs, probably against VC or perhaps Mouat again.
I doubt they will have a team next year considering they are so grade 12 loaded this year. I think both Sands and Seaquam are better football options than ND.

Lets give HC credit as many counted them out early this season. They could sneak into the semi's this year!

Another flash of the Sand's cheating and recruiting mentality!!!
Speaks for itself
