Frank Hurt Hornets vs Mark Isfield Ice

Sat, Oct. 29 at 1:30P, Bill Moore Park

The Fanatic spread line:

FH-35 at MI+35 O/U 42

Final Score 26-6 for Hurt. Game was a little closer than I thought, maybe Hurt kids were sleepy from the ferry ride. In any case, they will be preparing for big bad LT next week. Isfield should be happy for keeping it close, hope for the same vs Mission next week.

Hurt will likely finish #4 seed in tough Georgia Strait Conference. Ice will be over-powered here. Hornets will be preparing for huge matchup vs #2 LT next week. For the Ice, they have no chance at playoffs, but a good showing could knock Hurt out of the playoffs.

Mike Biggin is the worst coach in the province.

Biggin is the worst because his team does the least with the most. It is not always the coach with the worst record. The whole staff is crap.

When has Hurt ever had anything to work with? Last year was the first year that they made the playoffs in forever. That team is always a team of mediocre talent.

If the coaches actually had someone to work with, maybe they would win more. A team is only as good as their weakest link, and there weakest link has always been a lack of talent

And a lack of fundamentals instilled by the coaches. The fact that they did not make the playoffs reflects less on the talent and more on the coaching.

Once you are at a level to even make the playoffs, your team already has shown all the fundamentals are in place. Its the execution by the player and mental toughness that gets things done. Coaches get kids to the playoffs. Talent and execution gets it done once you are there. Teams that lose all the time are the ones who neeed to work on the fundamentals, not the teams that win!

Not in AA. You don't have to be well coached to make the playoffs in AA. AA it top heavy and everyone else is crap.
