Seaquam Seahawks vs Frank Hurt Hornets

Thu, Sep. 1 3:30P at Frank Hurt, Surrey

The Fanatic spread line:

Seaquam+21 at FH-21 Over/Under 42

Final Score 41-20 for FH. 21 point spread was perfect. I guess this means FH stays at #6.

Coach Paul Taylor of the Seahawks faces his old Hornets team where he came from, it will be a rude awakening. Hornets are an up and coming team, should be over in the first half.

I think the Hawks have 1 good upset in them this year, and that's it.

40-20 something for FH. Not a bad showing for Seaquam.

I'm a little surprised that Seaquam scored that many against Frank Hurt. Is Seaquam better than maybe some have predicted? Or is Frank Hurt not as good as expected?

The actual score was 41-19 after a blocked extra point by FH.

Seaquam did well to take advantage of mistakes by FHs Defense.

Once Coach Heskin tunes up his D and the roster completes itself, there wont be that many points allowed as the season progresses

Well rounded game: 2 TD's Offense, 2 TD's Sp Teams, 1 TD Defense for FH

2 special teams and one defensive toucdown sound more like the result of it being the first game (sloppy) rather than well rounded. Frank Hurt is rated way too high. How are they rated number 6 on this list when they barely make the playoffs in the predictions?

FH is in a tough conference. Mt Doug and LT own the top 2 spots. So FH and Mission have to battle for 3rd.

FH is a good team, they're well coached and have decent size and speed.

The well coached point is certainly debatable. How many games have the coaches their won? Is that not what coaches are judged by?

Coaching high school football is a lot more then winning and losing. It has a whole lot more to do with dedication, commitment and patience. The Hurt Staff have been involved with this program for 10 years. Now tell me if you still think their coaching abilities are "debatable".

I knew you were going to come back with that. Yes, the coaches should be commended for the time and effort they put in. I take back what I said, and I change my opinion to questionable. As mentors and moulders of young men, I cannot speak from experience but I hear they are great. Just being involved in the program for ten years, does not make you a good coach. Maybe a good person for the dedication displayed, but not a good coach based on games won and lost. That part of their coaching abilities are still in question.

Hey I play for Frank Hurt and the game against the Seahawks was good. The only reson they score against us was because we were missing 2 of our starting LB. But do not get the wrong idea the Sea Hawks are under ranked team that is very good.
