The Pinetree T-Wolves were not able to repeat their #1 finish in the 04/05 season as division juggernauts STM and Centennial were too good. The T-Wolves fought hard (and with a little luck from the Football Gods) to earn a playoff spot but got man-handled by Centennial 40-0 in the first round. Offensively, the T-Wolves were paced by the pair of Deji Oduwole and Nathan Hardless on the ground. QB Trevor Sharpe and Michael Kim led the air attack. Defensively, the T-Wolves matched up well throughout most of the season. The defense was led by outstanding performances by LB Jon Anderson and Zayne Mioch.

Of all the key players from last year's team, only Trevor Sharpe and Michael Kim will be returning. The core of the offense and defense has graduated. This all means that JV standouts Michel Level and Chris Schuster will be called upon to make big contributions for Coach Crump for the 05/06 season. The JV T-Wolves stood their ground in the tough Eastern Conference going 4-2. Big contributions will be expected from the rookies.

This will be a year of rebuilding for the T-Wolves. In the tough Central Conference, that means a playoff birth won't be likely (unless the Football Gods smile on them again). This will be a good opportunity for the rookies to get some valuable Varsity Football experience. This could be the team to watch out for in 06/07. Sharpe and Kim will lead the team offensively and Level and Schuster should have breakout seasons. And for the record, yes, I'm picking Fox to beat Pinetree, spread should be Fox -14.

Prognosis: 2-3 (T-Wolves over the Wildcats in a close one)
Key Games; Week 3, Barsby vs Pinetree; Week 7, Pinetree vs Central
Top Offensive Players: QB Trevor Sharpe, RB Michael Kim, RB Michel Level
Top Defensive Players: LB Chris Schuster
